Welcome to Littabella Alpacas
Home of the beautiful Suri Alpaca (and a few Huacaya)
Located in the beautiful Great Southern of WA at Redmond West, half way between the coastal town of Albany & and the beautiful Denmark.
We are Shaun & Nicole Read and we have been breeding beautiful Suri Alpacas since 2017. We are members of the Australian Alpaca Association
Our Alpaca adventure started back in QLD with two wethered alpacas to guard our small flock of sheep. Over time our little herd grew to approx 50 alpacas on farm. We opened our farm up for visitors to come and experience alpacas with guided walking tours, we took alpacas to town to visit aged care facilities, playgroups, NDIS open days, Scholastic Library days, Christmas Parades, on farm alpaca workshops and we participated in the Alpaca Therapy Program held at the Gin Gin QLD High School - a program we were very proud to have been a part off.
Our circumstances then changed with Covid - we made the decision to sell up in QLD and return to our home state WA, bringing with us 21 of our beautiful Alpacas (what an epic trip across Australia that was and a story for another time).
